LLANDUDNO | Amitayus Long Life, Merit & Wisdom Retreat
Weekend Retreat
With Resident Teacher Kelsang Jangchub
During February, many Kadampa centres organise pujas, retreats, teachings and empowerments of Buddha Amitayus.
‘Amitayus’ means ‘Infinite Life’ and signifies that by relying on this holy being we will not only overcome the dangers of untimely death in this life, but eventually through Tantric practice attain the pure illusory body – a vajra body that is permanently free from ageing, sickness and death.
By engaging in the practice of Buddha Amitayus we also accumulate profound wisdom and extensive merit. To enjoy a meaningful human life we need long life and wisdom.
Everyone welcome. You can join the retreat for all or any of the sessions you wish to join.
