This course will explain methods to deal with the inevitable winds of change and loss in our lives - so we can remain calm and happy in the face of such challenges.

Everyone is welcome to join our meditation classes. People attend for many reasons—some to find peace from stress or anxiety, others to deepen their understanding of meditation and Buddhist teachings, or simply to enjoy a friendly, like-minded community.

Each class includes guided meditations, a practical talk on applying Buddhist wisdom to daily life, and time for reflection or questions. No previous experience is needed.

Classes are self-contained, so you can come to any session that suits you (except the Foundation Programme, which requires enrolment). After each class, the teacher is available for a chat or to answer questions.

You don’t need any special clothing. All classes are seated on chairs, with cushions available for those who prefer. Most people find it comfortable to wear loose-fitting clothes that allow easy breathing and relaxation.

There are two ways to attend classes: pay-as-you-go or through a Centre Card membership.

Pay-as-you-go lets you pay for each class individually. You can still enjoy discounts for booking a series or early-bird rates for weekend courses.

If you attend regularly, the Centre Card is the most economical option. Membership starts from £20 per month, with three levels depending on how often you attend. There’s no fixed commitment—you can change or cancel anytime.

All fees and memberships directly support the centre’s charitable activities, helping to keep meditation classes accessible to everyone.
